Zone tool Perimeter/Dimensions

Working with the Zone tool and showing the perimeter. The perimeter unit is related to the one specified under the Linear Dimension in the Preferences. So if they are in mm the perimeter and the dimensions will show in mm. How can I have the perimeter in meters and the dimensions in mm.

Dimensions units and precision are also saved with the view. Regardless of the units set in Preferences, you can override that setting by defining the appropriate dimension settings in the saved views.
