License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

changing direction of dimension text

Is there a way to change the dimension text to show upside down instead of right side up. This has become a problem in plotmaker when the plan is rotated on its side to fit on the page. now the dimensions are upside down when looking from the bottom of the page. Any suggestions?

I've tried a lot of ways, but none that have actually worked 😞

the only way I was ever able to take care of this problem was to rotate the model before you import into PM, see this thread: http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=7020&highlight=dimension+orientation

I'd try to avoid rotating views in PM if I were you. I did this once with a site plan that had a fill pattern on it consisting of dashed lines (solid+dashed or similar) and it made the file size huge, effectively breaking up the fill into thousands of individual lines. Without rotation it was fine!

My problem is that I had a plan that is to long to place on the layout so i rotated it so that the front of the house is towards the title block on the right side of the layout. This makes the dimensions upside down from the bottom of the page.

I would try making a rotated layout, i.e. make the layout size 17x11, rather than 11x17 (or whatever size our paper is) then use that layout just for the sheet with the "rotated" drawing, this way you wont have to rotate the drawing in PM, and it should fit on the page.. just a thought...
