You can print straight from a layout simply by opening it, and going File, Print.
You can also go to 'save as' with the layout open and save it as a PDF document for storage.
You could even set up publisher sets to do the same thing if you had several drawings to print or save at once!
See page 320 onwards in the ArchiCAD 11 reference guide for further info on publishing.

Dude, you gotta give more info than that. I'm not really sure what you want to end up with and why your nickers are in such a twist.. if the printer is connected to your computer just hit "PRINT" similar for plotting. If you need to transport your output to another remote device, many people print to PDF or publish to same. In the old days I would also plot to file which makes a PLT file.
