height dimensions - relative and absolute in two lines?

Hello all, I am a newbie user of archicad (just one month or so) and completly new user here in the forum.

We have implemented archicad in the studio and there a few things that the archicad manager in the studio says is not possible to do. So, like when you go to the doctor, I'd like a second opinion

Is there any way to set up a dimension (I mean, height dimension) using the parameters <toPZvalue> = <toAltvalue> (that means, the text is like +3,500 = +343,000) in such a way that they don't use the same line? I want to see +3,500 over the height +343,000, and I just cannot do it. With the variable <br> (enter) it doesn't work.

There are many other things I would like to check in the forum but for now this one I think is enough.

Thanks!

You can't add line breaks in dimension text fields, sadly. So either use two seperate dimension levels for the two dimensions (with different style marker to shift the text vertically up), or manually add the text where you want (or just keep them on one line?).

There would probably be the option to make an object to do what you want, but it wouldn't be part of the dimensioning tool then.

the second doctor says the same, so I will definitely dye... what a pity, I take very seriously the look of any detail and I am realizing that with archicad I can't do anything I would like to. So one line, and goodbye problem

I am afraid I will be an active part of this community, the 50% of times I ask something to the archicad manager I get as an answer "you can't do that".

Did you try the two dimension level strings? It works nicely for me to get two lines of text and you just drag a copy of the first string after you've finished dimensioning and edit all the autotext in one go.

I got to copy the text below, I was happy until I saw it turns into normal text
Now I am trying with two same style dimensions and different text position, for now I am happy, although it's not what I had in mind... for this little project I am involved now it will be ok, anyway. If I have to do this in a bigger one, I would just leave it in one line.

edit: It will take a while for sure, I had the dimensions finished already (for second time), but I will finally leave them in two lines as you suggested. Thanks a lot!
