lines not printing solid

when printing pen#8 at .10pt the lines dont print solid. it seems to fade out at random areas in the drawing. this only happens when printing. it's fine viewing on screen. we use this pen for grids and dimensioning. we didn't have this problem pre ac10. this happens on both our mac g5's and new mac intels. any suggestions regarding this issue?

Are you sure that the line isnt non black and printing as greyscale? You might like to check your pensets

the pen is turquoise and when printing from the layout (ac10) we just check "black and white". this pen set is the same since ac7. this problem only occurs when printing from the layout, not the archicad window.

I think you could check the drawing in the layout doesnt use a different penset
