License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. modifying a dimension's automatic position

Hello.
I noticed that, whenever a dimension is too small, its text jumps to the left. I am wondering whether it is possible to keep the text automatically in the middle of the line, irrespective of how long or short this is.
Thank you.

Not that I am aware of.
In-line or on-line will affect the automatic position of the text but that may still not be what you want.

Where is the option for in- or on-line? Is it the same with the text being above, interrupting or below the line?

Yes by "on-line" I mean above and "in-line" is interrupting.
Archicad seems to call in 'top, centre and bottom'.

Depending on the size of what you are dimensioning and the size of your dimension text you will get different results.
As an example see the attached image.
