License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

multiline text auto columns or autoflow?

I'm very new to archicad, having just moved over from autocad LT and I'm trying to add a list of notes to a drawing in a text box. I need them to be in columns which I can alter the length of to fit around other drawing elements.

In CAD there was the option to format text into columns, which i could then format the length and widths or set to auto. Is there a similar function in Archicad or even an autoflow similar to inDesign I could use to flow text from one box to the next?

Or am I completely missing a feature in Archicad which would make this easy.

Im using 21 Solo on a mac.

Thanks
John

I think this is not available as a feature in ARCHICAD's Text Tool.
In ARCHICAD each individual Text Block consists of a single text column the width of which you can set, you can specify indents and Tab positions within the Text Block, and you can also set "Wrap Text" so text overflows into the next line within the Text Block.
However, it is not possible to define multiple columns within a single Text Block.

You may create a wish for this in the Wishes section.
