hello all
the renovation filter seems to be contentious, you love it or you hate it. i'm on the fence, i thought i liked it, but now i'm not so sure. i have two walls that disappear depending on the filter. with the reno filter set to floor plan floor plan they show, set the filter to section or 3D views, they disappear, in plan views, section and 3D. the two walls are set as new. in those three filters they are set to show new, existing and hide to be demolished, so no overide.
so two walls:
reno filter, walls set as new same as other walls that stay put
layer, same as other walls that don't disappear
storey, correct and level is the same as others
composite, same as others
apparently MVO may affect this but a really don't s

Are the walls that disappear when you change filters locked to a specific filter by any chance by using the ‘show only on this renovation filter’ checkbox in the renovation filter palette?

Filter set to section or 3D views? How have you setup your Reno Filters? What are your View settings?

I would also be interested in the rest of your settings in RF.
Are the "Do not intersect" and other settings applied?
Is there a "Solid Cut Fill" applied that is affected by your Graphic Overrides?
