shortcuts for "explore" mode in archicad

Hi! I am aware that the shortcuts used to explore mode are z,s,d,q. I personally don't like it at all since I don't want to be looking for letters on my keyboard when navigating - hence I would prefer to use arrows, that do not work. (MacBook). Isn't it logical that to move around would be more intuitive with arrows to start with?

Since the arrows just don't work out originally, I thought about adding shortcuts but they don't work (reacts) either?

I do not see your screenshot very clearly as it is a bit low resolution, but it seems like you are trying to assign Keyboard shortcuts to the "Explore Model" command. That command will enter Explore mode in the 3D Viewpoint. So, assigning shortcuts to that command will not affect how you can navigate once you are in Explore mode. Pressing any of those assigned keyboard shortcuts in 3D will just enter Explore Mode.

Also, normally (unless you chose to hide it at one point) there is a little Info Dialog that shows the Explore Mode keyboard shortcuts, like this:

These shortcuts are hard-coded by default so you will not be able to change them.

However, as you can see on the screenshot, the arrow keys should work for going forward/backward/left/right in Explore Mode. I just tried in Archicad 28 on Windows, and they work for me.

The arrows should work without changing any settings (as per Laszlo's screenshot). If they don't, there might be another issue here.

haha thats what I thought it is !

I would be happy if it would be working as well - but Nope. not working. I also turned off "rectangle" app that I use for window rearrangement on iOS w shortcuts in case it would be in the way, but nope.

I should also mention, that the arrows are not working also on the floor plan (or anywhere in the archicad, like layouts etc)

Unfortunately, the arrows in Archicad aren’t working on my end (iOS) - anywhere and in the 3d view. I do recognize the window you referenced, but I had previously selected “Do not show this information next time,” and now I’m unable to find where to reactivate it in the work environment settings.

I followed the instructions from this page: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/user-guide/88432/, which mention going to Options > Work Environment and using Enable All Informational Messages, but it doesn’t specify exactly where in the Work Environment to access this. I’ve searched through every section and still can’t locate the setting.

Could you please guide me to the specific location within the Work Environment where this can be re-enabled?

Also why are your default movement keys - z,s,d,q?

Are you using a different keyboard other than a QWERTY keyboard?

Maybe that is why the arrow keys are not working?

Probably an AZERTY keyboard. Cocoloco is in France?

I don't have this option , I can't expand the work environment unless I click on it. I also tried to search "enable all informational messages" but nothing comes up. This inconsistency between different archicad and not available online updates  is crazyyyyy

Also regarding the keyboard - I have no idea. I am on MacBook /US and my keyboard is qwerty... and not sure why it is different in archaic , I haven't touched these settings
