signature in Plotmaker for PDFs

Sometimes we want to put a signature into a set of drawings in Plotmaker and then create PDFs from the drawings. When we look at the PDFs the signature looks very pixelated.

What is the best way to get a signature into a Plotmaker drawing that will be made into a PDF?

Scan the signature much larger and then shrink in PM to get rid of the jaggies
