stretch/adjust and new/existing/tobedemolished items

I'm working on an project for an existing building ...
I have some existing windows to be modified so in my model I have windows to be demolished and new windows ...

I'm on a view where only the new parts and existing are visualized ...
when I stretch/adjust with the marquee also the parts to be demolished are stretched/adjusted ...

is it possible to avoid that?

even blocking the window to be demolished it is moved together with the items inside the marquee
