unable to select some dimension point in chain

Hi i am a new user of Archicad 10, i am facing a weird problem when i am trying to edit my linear dimension chain, its not letting me select some of the points, it makes no sense to me that why i am not able to select those points?I can't delete the points i need to, as i can't even select them.
wanted to know if any one has faced the same thing ever or if any one can help me in overcoming this prob.

I have had the situation where I select a node on a dimension string and it does not highlight, but it actually is selected and can be treated as such. You might want to verify that it is not just a display error.
