Floor Plan Cut Plane only affects 3D construction elements and not objects like the sofa. Instead its controlled by the Floor Plan Display in the object settings.

Yes, you have to tell the elements below what stories you want to allow them to be seen on.
If set to 'Home Storey' they will only show on that storey.
Also make sure you slab does not have a cover fill and is set to the front in display order.
If it does, it will also hide whatever is below it.
I am sure that is not the case here though.
You will also have a problem if you set an element to 'Show on All Storeys'.
That is exactly what it will do regardless of your FPCP settings.
Barry.

Archicad has a retarded way of creating documentation. You won't be able to control what you see exactly and how you want to see it. It's beyond stupid but that's what it is.
Your only way is to create a 3D axonometry that looks down on the project and use cut planes to show the story you want to show, then set the 3D doc to look like a documentation drawing.
Retarded, I know.

With regards to the above topic, "objects" have the All Relevant stories option.
But... I can't see any pattern as to why this works with some objects and not others.
For example if you set a particular object to this settings you can see it across multiple stories but the next object doesn't appear in the same locations even with the same "show on stories" option is enabled.
If anyone can shed light on this I'd love to hear.
