Label Connection Pointer - Last Word of Last Row

I'm new to GDL but has anyone attempted to create a custom label pointer connection (is this possible)?

I want to extend what's out of the box for a Text/Autotext label pointer that's set to "connect label to last row" so that the pointer line starts at some distance from the last word in last row as well. Like example below:

I don't think it can be done.

There is no way that I know of to determine the extra space at the end of the last word.

Even if you could manipulate the position of the leader line, which I am not sure you can.

At least it would not be a project for a new GDL coder.

No, the autotext label doesn't use GDL.

With a custom label it might be possible to draw a line to the end of the pointer drawn by AC or draw a custom pointer, but as Barry said it won't be easy.
