PROJECT2{2} background color

Domagoj Lukinic

Hi all,

I do not understand PROJECT2{2}  command...

My main goal is to get a fill from projected 3D surface, however when I assign a background color it does not work...

What am I doing wrong?

PROJECT2{2} 2,90,32+512,3,0,0,45

Hi,

I forgot to replay on my own post...

I already solved the problem, my "method" was wrong. I was constantly setting 2 witch is hidden lines (analytic) but I needed to use 3=shading.

Hi @Domagoj Lukinic,

Not entirely sure if I am understanding your question, however, if you are looking to add a coloured background fill to your 3D projection, you can do this by setting up a background pen parameter and a fill type parameter and referencing them in the 2D script (see example below).

Parameters:

gs_fill_type

gs_back_pen

2D script:

set fill gs_fill_type
project2{2} 3, 270, 3 + 32, gs_back_pen

Hope this helps!
