We are working on a new object that can be connected to a complex shape in Grasshopper using the Connection plug in. In this post we will update you on the WIP of the object.
This object is an evolution of the object we created for the Graphisoft competition in 2018 where we won the first award with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TU0U8xR1RcI.
The case studio here: https://Graphisoft.com/case-studies/designing-reality
The object will use only the main coordinates of 2,3,4 point defined in Grasshopper to create parametric object in Archicad that can be managed as AC standard object, also using Model View Option. The object will be also responsive with the position of the sun, and you will be able, for example, to create animation with moving blade as the video of Designing reality above.
We would like to have any suggestion to create option according to the real needs of the users.

This is a preview solution using panel with 3 points and strut with 2 points

This is a shape using the panel "tile".
Also an image of the pattern from above you can achieve also using the panel "tile"

wow, very nice! Is it goint to be possible to put custom profiles?

Cool Idea. I could think about it.
For now this option is not available.
I must study if I can adapt a profile to irregular 3 or 4 shapes.

Maybe for irregulars you can use custom object.

This could be a solution. I could create a simple object that the user can use to start his personal custom object.
But I would try to avoid too much complex solutions. I would try to implement the object to allow more solutions of panels without coding.
The way of profile could be a solution. I could reparametrize the coordinates of the point of the profile to adapt them to the irregular shape.
