do you version control gsm files with github?

I'm not entirely sure if this works but I was wondering if anyone of you guys use github to do version control gsm files.

I'm asking just cause I want to track who coded what and do version control if needed. The thing is .gsm files aren't like .vue or other text files. So seeing who pushed what is kinda impossible. But I want to use github just cause of the other benefits....

Thanks for this Peter.  This is really great to know! 😊
A webinar on how you guys are managing this in house would be a super exciting topic to cover I think, just a thought.

It'd be so amazing to get a glimpse of on some of those custom tools you are using to drive LP_XMLConverter too, but assume there would be IP issue related to that.

I feel like LP_XMLConverter could be such a powerful tool for everyone if there was a GUI or better CLI, or even some more detailed documentation.

Cheers,

Scott

It's good that you asked, I forgot that we publish it in Library Developer Kit.

There are two perl scripts at Sources\ArchicadLibrary\Make: MakeLibrary.pl and ReverseBinLibrary.pl. See readme.html for details.

There is also a more detailed explanation of LPXMLConverter at Tool/Documentation/LP_XMLConverter.html
