Problem with Terrain in Massaro Tutorial

I have just installed ArchiCAD 11, (i'm an AutoCAD and Chief Architect user), and am working through the Massaro house tutorial. I'm up to the 3D Terrain exercise and am having the following problem: I cannot see any elevation above -11 ft. in the 3d perspective view. Anything higher than that just defaults to a flat grey horizontal surface. I can get the proper profile if I move everything down several feet, but there must be another way. What am I missing?

A few things to check:
1. Filter Elements in 3D... > is this set to Infinite or restricted to a story range?
2. Do you have 3D Cutaway enabled in conjunction with the 3D Cutting Planes...?
If not, a screen shot might help diagnose the problem.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
