cursor issue

So i'm fairly new to to archicad. For almost six months now i've been dealing with the same problem. Any time I want to move an object or draw a line I have to move my cursor off screen. I've been through my settings in my work environment but I cant seem to figure out this issue.

I see you are on Mac.

I am wondering if this is another type of user interface issue.

There is another one which has been reported by many people where menus come up empty and unresponsive. Here is a post about it:
