Update April 22, 2024:
Dear all,
This is a follow-up to our previous message (see below the separator line) about the release of BIMcloud 2024.1.
We regret to inform you that we've encountered an issue with the on-premises version of BIMcloud 2024.1, resulting in the postponement of the release. We're actively working on a fix and aim to have updated installers available by the end of April.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Technical Support Team
Dear All,
We are pleased to announce that the new 2024.1 version of BIMcloud Software as a Service (SaaS) is now available. The on-premises update will be available on April 24th, 2024. The latest release comes with several enhancements.
Cloud licensing on BIMcloud is now compatible with earlier versions of Archicad and DDScad. You can enable this backward compatibility by switching from the "modern" to "legacy" authentication method. However, please note that enabling this feature may reduce the security of user authentication. Legacy authentication is enabled, and backward compatibility is turned off by default to ensure security. You have complete control over switching between these two options. You can read more about this workflow on our related Help guide page.
You can download the latest version of BIMcloud from the Graphisoft website from April 24th. With version 2024.1, we have updated the BIMx component to provide significantly improved performance and introduce many additional features detailed in this Knowledge Base article.
Please note that BIMx will only function if the browser connects to BIMcloud via HTTPS.
We have fixed several issues, for instance:
The complete list of fixes will be available on the day of the on-premises release on our List of Improvements in BIMcloud – Graphisoft page.
Please update all components of your BIMcloud to take advantage of the new capabilities.
If you have any questions or feedback, please let us know!
Best regards,
Technical Support Team
