2nd instance of ArchiCAD 11 on OS X 10.7.2 crashing

Has anyone had an issue with ArchiCAD not being able to launch a second instance of ArchiCAD 11 on OS X 10.7.2? I just had a user run into this and before I dig too deep into it, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has seen this issue.

My machine is still on 10.6 so I can't explore in the comfort of my desk...

I've had this problem with AC14 EDU & OSX 10.7.2. The icon just bounces on the dock like a stupid dog trying to look over the fence.

If you go to file/ new and launch a new file instance, that works, then you can turn that new file into the instance you originally wanted to open as it will automatically close the new file instance and replace it.
