3D Mouse

Anyone using one of these new 3D mice? Like the one from 3Dconnexion. Looks interesting but it is a left handed mouse as you still need to use the normal mouse. Any views on whether it is worth it would be appreciated.

Have the 3DConnexion as a freebee. [Shakedown]

Lets you drive around in Archicad 3D like no other.

Best experience: SketchUp and Google Earth.

But its no use in the 2D window right? And how practical is it when you would have to keep removing your hand from it to use the keyboard?

3DC mouse does work in 2D--left, right, up, down, zoom in, zoom out. Smoother in SketchUp than AC, but still a huge asset.

"Couldn't" live without the SpaceMouse Compact. It's not hand specific.
