3D view freezes - archicad 22 EDU

I have a big problem: when I open 3D view, after less then few seconds my archicad 22 edu freezes and I need to force close. I tried reinstalling the software and I have all the updates. My computer is good with specifications, and I am using 20 and 21 which are working fine.

Does someone have the answer how to fix the problem?

You should add your operating system (with version) to your forum signature, this helps people guess at what the problems would be.

In this case I would also specify your hardware, even though you think it might not be the problem.

Hi,

Yes, it can be highly dependent on OS and Hardware. Eg. if it is a Mac, I would suspect this:

Also, in ARCHICAD 22 we upgraded the OpenGL Engine from v2.0 to v3.2, so make sure your GPU drivers are up-to-date! Also, if this is the source of the issue, then the vectorial 3D engine should still work.

Other than that, what you should do, is create logs of the freeze, and send it to your local technical support team so that they can analyze it.
