There is a bit of undercover wisdom not to upgrade projects from one version to another.
It's difficult to say for sure, but you probably will have some problems upgrading projects. Most problems come from library parts: doors, windows, etc. Unloading the older library and loading the new one can cause problems if the library parts changes at all. Keeping the old library could be a problem if the new version of Archicad has subtle differences in the GDL system which would cause the 7.0 library to malfunction.
