AC10 Processor/CPU requirements?

I need a new machine to run AC10, and am wondering if anyone's run it on a Dell Inspiron Laptop possessing a Intel Core Duo processor T2400 (2MB Cache/1.83GHz/667MHz FSB) ?

Does that fall under the "or compatible" in the very short list of CPU's in the system requirements?

If not... what PC laptops would y'all recommend?

We have 2 HP laptops in here, one with a T2400, and one with a T2500, and Archicad runs beautifully on them. It also runs very well on a 20-inch imac(with a T2500 chip) in Windows or OSX mode.

AC10 runs great on my CoreDuo 2.16GHz w/2GB RAM (the added GB made a BIG difference) in Windows XP. It keeps up just fine with the HP workstations here (new Pentium D machines). It even seems a bit faster but I haven't had time to run a controlled test.

I just changed from a laptop because I couldnt update the graphics card and the increasing RAM made the unit potentially overheat. Laptops are great for mobility but difficult to upgrade.

I can run AC10 EDU on my Dell Inspiron 6000 with a Celeron M 1.3GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and integrated video... Its not blazing fast, but it's possible. However, I just ordered a new Dell E1705 with a 2GHz CoreDuo @ 667MHz, 1GB RAM @ 667Mhz, 256MB GeForce Go 7900GS and an 80GB 7200RPM HDD

I have used 1GB of RAM before and AC runs much much better with 2GB. It is well worth the extra $100 or so.
