AC16 Quick selection problem

Since I use AC16, when I hit spacebar to make selection, it simply doesn't work and I don't have idea why? Also when I select specific area with the marquee tool and when I try to select elements only in that area, it doesn't work - it selects everything around the marquee. Any idea how can I resolve the problem?

With the Arrow Tool selected, look at the magnet (Quick Selection) button in the Info Box, it should be light, not dark.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
