AC17-HF02 Extremely Slow with 2 Sessions Open

After installing Hotfix 02 if I have my Model file open and my Layout File open switching between causes then one in the background to beachball for about 5-10 min.

Not happy. The only workaround is to have only one session open which defeats the purpose of verifying and fixing drawings.

I have checked the files. I couldn't replicate this freeze on my mac, but it seems to me that this is the issue that you are experiencing:

So what you could try is to temporarily change the file format in all the publisher sets to pdf from dwg to see if it resolves the issue.
(Obviously disabling IPC connection in the Preferences would not let the two instances communicate with each other)

We plan to fix this problem with a Hotfix in AC 17.

Will try the fix and let you know. It might be coincidence but there was no problem prior to HF02.
