AC25 immediately crash opening a section with surface texture active

Hi,
I'm on Mac Bigsur 11.4 iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) - AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GB, I've a lot of crash playing with all my section in a small file and the new feature surface textures...

this is the bug report:

I have been having the same issue with AC25. Initially i thought it was one file but soon started having same issues with all AC25 files so reverted back to AC24.

I have been dealing with my re-seller but they cannot reproduce the error.

My latest bug report AC25-2021-11-01-04-57-21-5957

I had to work in AC24 with geometry shaders disabled so thought it might be related here.

Initially I thought it was one of the new model view settings in elevation or section that was the issue. When 'surface – texture fill non shaded' was selected a crash was guaranteed.

But I still had crashes when these settings were off

Anyway, with Navigator Preview window closed I am now back up and running on AC25 with no issues.

So happy I found this conversation.

@jarvis_philip Be sure that you update ASAP to the build 4013 Update 2 to ARCHICAD 25 that was released today, as it fixes many issues.

I've just checked and the update hasn't been released in NZ yet, but I will update as soon as it is released.

@jarvis_philip Actually, the NZ version is available - one of 6 localizations available today.  You need to go to the main Graphisoft download page - it will not show up from the "Check for Updates" feature within the product (yet).

thanks for the notification. I have also just received notice from the local reseller that an update has just been made available. Downloading & installing now
