AC8.1 to AC14 upgrade, new computers spec advice.

Hi, we've recently upgraded from 2D drawing on AC8.1 to 3D on AC14.

We're subsequently replacing some of our computers and I've decided to build the machines myself in order to save costs. After viewing forums and considering consumer versus pro graphics cards, and due to our extremely tight budget, I have opted for the following, but have not purchased yet.

It costs £550.

If anyone knows of any compatibility issues, or know where another product would be better in place such as Nvidia quadro instead of ATi Firepro, then I'm all ears. Even if consumer graphics may give better bang for the buck.

We're going to be doing some 3D video rendering soon so hopefully this makes the Firepro graphics card a better choice than a consumer card.

I'd be extremely interested to hear from people running ArchiCAD and Artlantis/Sketchup running any of the following kit.
  • Phenom II x6 (6 cores) 1090T 2.3ghz

1GB ATI Firepro V4800 (Ive heard great things about the latest entry level pro cards)

Asus M4A89TD PRO motherboard (supports 1600 ddr3 native not OC)

450W power cool modular 80 PLUS power supply

    8GB (2x4gb) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance PC3-12800 (1600)

    500gb WD SATA III 6Gb/s 16mb cache 8ms
Cheers
