When I start Archicad it immediately shows "ARCHICAD 22 quit unexpectedly." and doesn't open.
This just started to happen.
I reinstalled archicad and the licence manager. same result.
Same thing happens on my iMac and my 2022 MacBook Pro.
any ideas?
Operating system used: Mac Intel-based 14.4.1 Sonoma

I'm sorry but you can't run Archicad 22 in MacOS 14.

I am not a Mac user, but does 22 run in OS 14.4 ?
Maybe it did but you have just had a recent upgrade that broke it?
When I look up 22 requirements it says it runs on OS 10.11/12/13.

Hi Iycaf
Unfortunately archicad 22 doesnt work on macOS 14. it worked on OS 13.
I am very disappointed having bought a perpetual licence. I now know that perpetual really means about 4 or 5 years.
so I bought sketchup.

No, Perpetual means that it will work for ever if you are using the Operating System it was created for.
If you choose not to update the Archicad software, that is your choice, but don't expect it to run on new operating systems.
I don't know about Macs, but on Windows we can tell the software to run in 'compatibility mode' for older operating systems.
Barry.
