Team,
I’m experiencing an issue with Archicad 28 (version 4100) and my macOS system (15.4.1). I’ve noticed that other users have reported a delay in the startup of Archicad from version 27 to 28.
However, my problem is not limited to Archicad. It’s affecting all other applications, which leads me to believe that the issue is not with Graphisoft but rather with Apple.
This issue started after the update of macOS 14.4 to macOS 15.4.1 last week.
Has anyone else encountered similar issues? The screen delay is noticeable in all other applications, as far as I’ve experienced.

I believe I’ve identified the issue and found a solution. The problem was related to an application named TypeIt4Me.app. I had an incompatible version 6, and upgrading to version 7 resolved the issue. I hope this helps someone else.

UPDATE!!!
I’ve identified the source of the problem! I’m happy to report that it’s not macOS or Graphicsoft, but rather a login item or extension.
I disabled all Adobe, Dropbox, Google, and Microsoft services. While I don’t think those were the cause, and I suspect it may be a small but very useful app; either Mosaic.app or TypeIt4Me.app.
I’m just relieved the issue is gone for now, even if it means not loading those apps temporarily. Once I catch up on the work that piled up, I’ll dig deeper and report back if I find the exact app causing the issue.
I will keep my fingers crossed I report which one it was!
