ATI 3870 and partial acceleration

I noticed that I can't enable full acceleration in Archicad options.
The graphics card is a ATI Radeon 3870 512mb. I have the latest drivers installed.

The laptop enables full archicad acceleration with a much lesser video card...

Is this in the Work Environment Dialog?
What is your ArchiCAD version?
You should put the version info into your signature in your Profile.
