I've experienced several incidents of Archicad 28 just freezing up wihtithin the last hour. It is my first experience with AC28. And with it, the entire system. The only solution is to reboot.. Is that a known issue?
I went back to 25, have been working for two hours, no issues.
I have an Asus motherboard, Ryzen R7 and 32 gigs of ram, in case it is of interest in this matter.

As I did a bit of testing, I discovered that my PC freezing up had nothing to do with Archicad 28, as it happened on several occasions, and Archicad wasn't even running...
Case closed, I guess...

I have a different Windows machine, but have no problem running 28, and there are many others here with no problem either (probably not your specific machine specs though).
Sounds like this might need a call to your local support.
Have you installed the latest update for 28, which I believe is build 3110?
Barry.

Yes, I have updated to build 3110. This was a file from AC25, if it matters.

The fact that it is a 25 file shouldn't really matter.
But the only way to know for sure is to try other files or better still a file started with a 28 template.
And try to work out is there anything in particular that you are doing when the freeze occurs.

If this is happening to a specific file, try to use repair file just to check if any element is corrupted or degenerated.

Run CMD as administrator and run sfc/scannow just to check your windows installation
In case an error is found it will be fixed.
