Got my SAGER 17inch laptop....sweeeeet.

Are there any cordless usb mice that have the same features of the Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman?

Id hate to have get out my bitchin set of tools and cobble me up a notebook trackball mouse....ha!

Was using Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse Blue - three buttons but got sent [shakedown] a Logitech MX laser mouse and it is my favorite now, but a little big - has all the features if you are right handed.

Not to sound like the ignoramus that I may be...
But what is Blue Tooth and why or do I need this?

Short range wireless technology. No wires, no receivers, no nuthin' (hanging out of your machine, that is). The best option for laptops IMHO if yours has the capability.

The same here. I also got it for my laptop. I am never ever going back to a mouse. So many years (now I realise) subjecting my arm and shoulder and wrist to unnecessary and wasteful and stress-inducing stress. I think the mouse is a historical mistake, a costly detour in the path of history.

[I have only tried other trackballs for a couple of hours at most so I can't really compare within its species.]

I guess I'm just in a contrarian mood this weekend--sorry--but the mouse was anything but a historical mistake or detour. Dr. Englebart's invention was a groundbreaking advancement that revolutionized the process of interacting with on-screen data and led directly to the GUI. The horse-drawn buggy preceded the Ferrari Testarossa, but like you, I'll take the Testarossa (trackball) any day.

(Also sorry to stray a bit off topic here...)
