Apple abandons quicktime

FYI:

ARCHICAD 18 and newer do not install or use QuickTime:

Now the only question is what people using older versions should do? As far as I remember, if QuickTime is required for ARCHICAD 17 and older and if it is not installed will not start. So I suppose this is not an option for those people.

Hi guys,

AC 15-17 can survive without QuickTime, only v14 and older cannot start up without it being installed. See more information in the updated Help Center article.
