Archicad 26 6003 (ARM) Update 4 doesn't launch after update

Hi,

Just a heads up, we have upgraded all of our office machines to the Update 4 of Archicad 26 and so far none of the ARM/ Silicon based machines will launch Archicad 26. I have reported to local support.

@Lee Hankins

Same problem on Intel. https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Installation-update/AC26-6002-Upgrade-AC26-will-not-even-open/m-...

Only Graphisoft could take a working Preview version and screw it up for the Official release.  🙄

Apple iMac Intel i9 / macOS Sonoma / AC27UKI (most recent builds.. if they work)

Well, as a slight update it did eventually open after between 12 and 15 minutes in our machines.

Really strange, Lee!  Eduardo and I reported in this other thread that 6003 works fine on our ARM Macs... he's on Sonoma and I'm on Ventura:

this issue has just happened to me...in the middle of multiple deadlines. Just tried to manually delete the files you noted in your message above. Can't even find those files on my machine. They are not where you note they should be. I am running Ventura on an apple silicon and 26 will not open since the update that came out on the 14th. Need help!

Just launch Archicad 26 and wait. Be patient. It can take up to 15 minutes but once it has launched it will be fine next time. It will open.

I fired up Activity Monitor after installing the 6002 update and there was listed [ Archicad 26 is not responding ], but at 14m:50s up pops the AC26 opening splash screen.

That's on a high spec 2019 iMac with i9 Intel CPU.

It does display as not responding which is annoying. It seems to take between 10 and 15 minutes no matter what specification of machine you have. Hopefully a fix will be issued soon although most people will have installed the update, come across the issue, launched Archicad and it will have fixed itself.
