I'm trying to crop a drawing to a frame to get the drawing in a particular size, without adjusting the scale. had no trouble doing this for three of the borders, but every time I click on the top edge, Archicad crashes. This has happened about 6 or 7 times now, and every time, the program freezes for about 2-3 seconds, before shutting down.
Has anyone had this problem before? I really need to get this fixed fast because I have to hand this in tomorrow, so any help would be really appreciated.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the report and I am very sorry for the issue!
Do you keep any of the bugID from the crash? If not, could you recreate the issue and share with me the number for a quick check?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Minh

Hello Minh,
I was eventually able to move past the problem by using the corners of the drawing, instead of the side, to crop it. Fortunately - or not, considering what happens - I was able to recreate the crash by adding the view again and repeating the process - it did not happen with the old version of the drawing anymore.
The bugID of the crash is 2020-10-21-12-03-35-6943. I also recreated it a second time and made a recording of it, in case that helps.
I'm sorry for the late reply after mentioning a lack of time myself, I did not think to look at the post after moving past the issue.
As I said, I made a recording in case you might need it. When I did that, I noticed that the crash also did not occur if I clicked a snap point - not this time at least. This is the link to that video:https://youtu.be/JsXMLAlvwPE
Note: My ArchiCAD is a little slow sometimes, but I don't think that's the issue here. I just never close Chrome tabs

Hello,
Thank you very much for the bugID. It was very helpful to me!
I found that the crash is linked to a known defect in Archicad 24.
Unfortunately, the detailed about the culprit of the crash is unclear to me. We had a similar case, but we are unable to reproduce the issue on our side. Nevertheless, our developers have fixed this issue, and it is scheduled to be released along with Update 2 of Archicad 24.
Thank you very much for your understanding! Please let me know if you need some help in fixing the file. I can give it a try with a Developer version, but I'm not positive that it can help in this situation.
Best regards,
Minh
