ArchiCad v25 will not open. I have a constant 'Cannot create temporary documents' come up and then ArchiCad shuts itself down. I work on a MacBookPro. How can I rectify this so ArchiCad opens and I can access my files??!! Thanks.

You did not read and follow the prompts near the end of installation,,,, you must go into system settings and give Archicad disk disk access,

Hi Karl, I've been working in this archicad for over 12 months with no issues. This is the first it's come up on Friday. Are you suggesting I uninstall and reinstall?

No, I'm suggesting you go to your System Preferences and verify that Archicad 25 has full disk access 🙂 Something must have disabled it... or otherwise there is some system issue going on...
Worst case scenario, uninstall/reinstall... or contact support 🙂

I was still having issues with the solution above and finally figured out where I went wrong for PC version of ArchiCAD26.
Make sure you are NOT heading to System C > Program Files > Graphisoft > ArchiCAD26 (or version you have). Make sure you are going to System C > Users > Graphisoft. Otherwise you will not be able to see all the AutoSaves, which you need to delete here. That should work. Hope that helps someone.

First check that your hard drive is not full.
If there is still plenty of space, check to see how many auto save files you have.
Sometimes they do not automatically delete and there seems to be a limit as to how many there can be.
Check the dates and maybe just delete the really old ones you probably don't need any more.

Thanks. Back up and running again. I blame Revit and/or the Revit online viewer. I downloaded a trial version I could see what I am sending to an engineer who is working with Revit. Next thing I know I could not open ArchiCAD files anymore. 😞
