myself and 3 of my clients are all unable to import a work environment, or at least not the "company standards schemes(s)" portion of the work environment to AC28. It's complicated enough to explain to them how to import my work environment without coaching them through importing the sub-parts and updating company schemes... any other updates or fixes for this coming soon?
(also, I did check this on my own computer as well. I can not even import a w/e to the same computer it was exported from, so it has to be a bug).

I've had the same issue and reported it to support. From what I can see it is because the location of the Recovery File is retained as the local location on your machine, or whoever's machine the work environment was saved from instead of using the default. If you select 'Choose Location', cancel and then change back to default location and redefine the work environment section that seems to resolve the issue. All versions previous to AC28 did not store the local location with the work environment and respected the choice chosen as default.

looks like we can bring in an ac27, but not 28 profile

That’s interesting. The only issue with that is it will disable the new tool menu items by default. This is another thing with work environments that needs to be changed to make it easier to transfer from one version to another. New menu items should be enabled by default.

I was going to say I had no trouble bringing my 27 WE into 28.
I have not tried from older versions (no need for me to do that).
I do this every year and then add the new commands that I want.
