We need a way to optimize the installation and upgrade process.
It would be extremely helpful if, before downloading Archicad, we could select a set of checkboxes to include all required add ons and components in a single installer. This would include both Graphisoft tools and third party components that are officially supported.
In our case, we use Archicad Collaborate with its full feature set, including MEP Designer, international libraries, Goodies, Datasmith, Grasshopper, and related components. What we would like is the ability to download one single installer that matches our preferred subscription or “flavor” of Archicad.
I understand and appreciate the flexibility of being able to customize tools per user or per office. However, flexibility should not require reassembling the same toolset every time we upgrade or set up a new machine.
I am currently installing Archicad 29, and while it is relatively clear where everything lives, the process still feels like a website excursion. I have to jump between multiple pages to download all the necessary installers. On top of that, we need to repeat the process for both macOS and Windows, since we run a mixed environment.
We are a small studio with five machines. Small studios usually do not have dedicated IT departments. We typically upgrade every two years around New Year’s, and this process is very time consuming. It would be a major improvement to be able to preload or generate a customizable installer that includes everything needed for a specific office setup.
This would significantly reduce friction during upgrades, lower the risk of missing components, and make Archicad easier to maintain in real world studio environments.

Have you looked into the installer arguments?
I wrote a batch script for our office to do a one click install of Archicad, hotfixes, addons and a few registry tweaks etc.
