Do I need my serial for updating Archicad?

Well I think I figured out why my interior wizard doesn't work, its because I don't have the latest build. However I have no idea where my serial went and I don't feel like finding it. When I update to the latest build, will I need my serial or anything like that?

Except for the Edu versions Archicad does not use a serial number for license control. To update you do not need a serial number.
