Hi, working in Archicad 22. I can see the roof tile fills from 1 to 8 in my attribute manager, however when I try to use it as a fill it s not showing under available symbol fills. Please help.

To the left of the fill pop-up list is a pop-up list for Fill Category, try changing the category to Cover Fill or Drafting Fill.
