Grid System Setting

I have a question regarding the Grid System Setting. When I first installed V12, the Grid System Setting seemed fine. I was able to access the 3D views, and other parameters.

Now, two days later, my Grid system setting does not give me the function. I can input the 3d grid, but it becomes lines/circles.

Does anyone know what was turned off/on? or if this has anything to do with the IFC that keeps popping up?

I had the same issue after upgrading. I had customized my toolbar to match AC 8.1 style (very simplified to show just a list of tools). When I changed my work environment to one of the default profiles it fixed it.
