HELP!! Saving in a .DWG formatt from Plotmaker

I cannot express my thanks to you all for your recent help. Last week while fumbling around the lights finally came on and I made leaps and bounds forward, and could not have done it without the help of you all on this forum!

So, now that I have my entire project all layed out in Plotmaker - I LOVE THE PRINT LAYOUT BOOK!! - and have printed a full set of drawing to send to the architect, I now have to send electronic files in .dwg formatt. The User Guide says that I can choose "Save As..." and save drawings in any available drawing or image format. However, the FORMAT pull down menu only displays Plotmaker Layout Book. Why can I not see any other available formats? I need to send these tomorrow or Tuesday morning at the latest. I see where I can save Plotmaker Drawings in any format and that works fine, but can't I save Plotmaker Layouts as .dwg files also?

HELP!!!

As always, I am sure the answer is easy, I just don't know where to find it.

Hold the phone - I am reading about Publishing to save Layouts as DXF/DWG files as we speak, or rather as I type! Hopefully I can figure this out tonight, if anyone minds gently nudging me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!

Thanks, all!

I simply having to force myself to think differently than I used to.

Hmmm....Think Different.....where have I heard that before??

The user guide must be out of date. To create .dwg files you need to use publisher under the file menu (similar to AC).

AHH HAAA!!! I found it!! Again, with a few clicks of a button the entire Layout Book is saved in .dwg files! Of course, you all already knew that. Man I love this program! Of course, the Publishing part is not in the Plotmaker section! I haven't used Publisher in AC before, so this is all new to me!

Djorde or another moderator, since I asked a silly question and then opened the manual and 15 minutes later solved my own problem, please feel fee to DELETE this thread!
