How to use the Mapping Values ?

Operating system used: Windows1.png

I want to install this feature and use it, but the linked video didn't give me a proper python file.

In another response, an Archicad official said that there will be a way to use it without installing the Python file soon, but I'm wondering when that is and when it will be able to use this feature perfectly.

There's now a browser-based tool that will do the job graphically.

This browser based tool makes the mapping so much easier. 😀

Shame I have already done it the long winded manual way. 😥

Still it was good to check for any mistakes.

I particularly like that one can filter by certain criteria and change all instances of, say, a surface. Pine Wood is not my favourite. 😄

There is no ability to comment on that page. It would be good to discuss this new tool and interact with the creators. Maybe @Magdolna Marosvari or one or our moderators can create a new topic for that purpose.

@SeaGeoff ,

You can create a new post yourself if you want to so you can then ask the questions that you want.

I tried it myself and it seemed quite straight forward.

A better forum might be Project Data & BIM as it really is about manipulating attributes rather than installing the software.

Will do @Barry Kelly, thanks.  I think Libraries and Object is the proper forum.
