Installing ArchiCAD for the first time

I have downloaded ArchiCAD 14 following all of the wizard instructions, but am unable to start the program.
The screen freezes with the ArchiCAD logo and eventually tells me the program is not responding.
I am new to ArchiCAD with very limited knowledge on computers!!!

It might help if you post ALL your computer specs.

Thank you for replying and showing concern, but I uninstalled ArchiCAD and reinstalled by running rather than saving and guess what?......... it's all working tickerty boo.
Maybe I should think before I type !!!!!!
