Interactive Training Guide won't open / launch

Hello,

I downloaded one of the Interactive Training Guides, specifically the "Collaboration, US (feet and inches)". I saved the file on the hard drive of my mac (G4/500), in the same folder as the AC11 application. When I double click on the Archicad Collaboration icon, I see it bouncing for a few seconds in the dock, but then it just stops and disappears from the dock. Nothing ever launches. What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Did the file completely download before you tried unzipping it? It's a huge file (700 megs or so, zipped) and takes a while

I thought so. The disk image is 752.8 MB. I'm downloading it again just to be sure.

hmm... I had no troubles with Collaboration e-Guide installation, but got the following error when launched ArchiCAD Training Guide - GDL:
---------------------------
InstallShield - Wizard
---------------------------
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: run

Exception in thread "main"
---------------------------
I even redownloaded file again, but got the same error.
I have latest Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed.
When I tried to download that huge file again (3rd) - file size changed while downloading.

I've been trying to download the v.11 building objects creation guide and had no luck. First it downloaded a 0 bytes file then today, nothing is downloaded.

Anyone else have trouble with that?

Hi!
I checked both Collaboration and GDL training guides -> both are working fine for me (MacIntel).

Some suggestions:
- please try to clear the cache before re-starting the download...
- regarding the G4/500 MAC: as far as I know the Java Virtual Machine is part of the System-> there is no need for separate installation - only for auto-updates (on PC the situation is certainly different)

best wishes,
lev

Hi levente

I'm using Windows not Mac 😉
Nice that there is no such problems on your Mac.

I've tried them both on Windows Vista 32, and they work fine.
