I have just got a new iMac that has half a keyboard (no numeric keys on right hand side). To input relative coordinates I used to use the + key on the numeric keypad (eg. "x 1500 +" moves the cursor 1500 to the right), but now this has gone I have to use SHIFT = to get the + input, which can be done with one hand, but is a bit awkward. Does anyone know if I can change this so I only need to hit the = button (without SHIFT)? It doesn't seem to be in the keyboard shortcuts (as its not really a shortcut, just the actual + symbol).
Also, F-buttons are automatically assigned to brightness, dashboard etc, so I have lost the quick F4 to go to "show selection in 3D" etc. How do I overwrite these keys to accept the Archicad shortcuts?
Stuart, when I ordered my 27" I asked for the extended keyboard.
Not wireless but that is not a problem for me.
And welcome to the " bright side"
You may also consider the Trackpad. I use this with a Wacom tablet.
Great combo for me. Have not used a rodent for some time.
