Never mind. Once you right click and exit the setpoint settings, you loose all custom button functions until you reopen setpoint. Then your back to square one.

I contacted with Logitech too, but so far there is no enough demand from our community. Other solution is to turn off the SetPoint software, but ... we are loosing access to other buttons settings (not good).

I set the scroll wheel to "Middle button" as mentioned in earlier post here (but I didn't turn the software off).
It allowed me to pan/scroll and zoom but at first the zoom would scroll a little at the same time.
But now it seems to be zooming just fine with no extra scroll.
I haven't tested it much as I have only just set the machine up.
I'll check it out again but won't be able to report back here until the week after next.
