it sounds as though you have some corrupt preferences, or more seriously, incorrect permissions on you home folder for archiCAD to write its preferences when quitting.
clean out all of the information from these folders and try again. check also that archiCAD has written new preferences back
into
these folders after you have set you workspace and quit archiCAD.
- <yourharddisk>/Users/<yourhomefolder>/Library/Application Support/Graphisoft/<all of this folders contents>
- <yourharddisk>/Users/<yourhomefolder>/Library/Caches/Graphisoft/<all of this folders contents>
- <yourharddisk>/Users/<yourhomefolder>/Library/Preferences/<all files beginning "com.graphisoft...">
- <yourharddisk>/Users/<yourhomefolder>/Library/Preferences/Graphisoft/<all of this folders contents>
there are a couple more insignificant stragglers too, but the above should be enough!
this might seem a bit severe, but i do this when i'm scratching my head over possible preference troubles
and at each new archiCAD version install! it's the only way i know of ensuring a completely clean slate. in fact, you should probably try a completely clean install as matthew suggested after you have deleted these preferences . . .
